Director of the Chemical Technology Company (ChTC) Leonid Rodin, PhD in Chemistry, chief technologist Viktor Kharitonov attended the European Hydrogen Week conference in Brussels.
Stakeholders from up and down the hydrogen value chain came together for four days of exhibitions, lively panel debates, and excellent networking opportunities.
The exhibition hall provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of electrolysis, hydrogen equipment and fuel cell technologies. Negotiations were held with potential customers of engineering services provided by the ChTC.
Director of the Chemical Technology Company (ChTC) Leonid Rodin, PhD in Chemistry, chief technologist Viktor Kharitonov attended the e-Fuels conference in Pärnu (Eesti).
The conclusions and recommendations from conference Offshore Power for E-Fuels: Boosting the New Hydrogen Economy have been published. The e-Fuels conference in Pärnu highlighted the exciting potential of Estonia’s emerging hydrogen economy. Experts emphasized the importance of hydrogen technologies in achieving the EU’s climate goals. Discussions focused on the need for pipeline infrastructure, a supportive regulatory framework, and grid reinforcements to facilitate the rapid deployment of hydrogen technologies.
Experts discussed the user-pays principle and the need for better coordination between Member States and the EU to ensure the successful financing of hydrogen infrastructure.
The conference explored the benefits of utilizing offshore wind energy for hydrogen production, decarbonizing marine transport, and attracting investments in hydrogen derivatives.
Ambitious projects such as the green ammonia production in Paldiski demonstrate the potential for large-scale investments in hydrogen in Estonia.
CEO of OÜ Derivaat NH3 Erik Laidvee introduced the conference participants to the presentation of green ammonia production in Paldiski. The role of ChTC and Chemproject in the technological and design engineering of this project was separately noted.
